What's In a Name?
When first hearing of us people usually have two questions. First, "How do you pronounce it?" and, second, "Where did it come from?" The answer to the first is that it is pronounced "Fray-er". The second question is a little more involved.
Freyr was the God of Prosperity in Norse and Germanic mythology. The rune, "Fehu", from which his name is partially derived, represented wealth in the ancient world and has been adopted as our symbol.

About Brandon
Brandon Konda, CFP® is the founder and principal of The Freyr Group. He is a fee-based financial advisor focusing on small business services, investment management, and comprehensive financial planning. In addition to being a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, he is a licensed life insurance agent.
As a first-generation college student who financed his own post-secondary education, Brandon understands the importance of proper financial planning in achieving one's goals. He received his undergraduate degree in History and Political Science from Kansas State University and his Master of Public Administration from The George Washington University.
Prior to his financial services career, he worked as a Legislative Aide for two members of the U.S. House of Representatives and as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
